Re: Brian F-ing Orakpo

I'm sorry, but Orakpo EASILY has at least 6 sacks in that game if Phil "Fat Fuck" Loadholt doesn't hold him ON EVERY PLAY. Rak was wreaking some serious havoc in that game...

Re: Brian F-ing Orakpo

There really were a lot of holds/takedowns that were not called. Oh well... just hope officials will watch for it after it being on a national stage and seen by everyone.

Orakpo made a lot of money for himself today. He's playing himself into a top 10 pick and maybe better.

Re: Brian F-ing Orakpo

Even though they were trying to hold Rak on every play, he was just too much for even the vaunted ou o-line, and at the end of the game was just totally disruptive to their offense. Gotta be Consensus All-American this year.

I kept forgetting he was going against a guy who was 110 lbs. heavier than he was and quick on his feet too. However, Rak made him look silly when he didn't move his feet.

I was screaming "HOLDING" at my TV over half of the defensive plays. He was definitely being held

He may have not gotten there but he was so close so many times that he made Bradford think. Best I have seen since Brackens.

Re: Brian F-ing Orakpo

I think every play, he was either held or got to the QB. Hell, on at least one of those sacks, he was held, and ran through the hold.

Speaking of OU sacks...

Our Oline was MONEY in the second half. Colt had a crap load of time to pick apart those sorry sons of beeches. They even got some running lanes open...including the BOOM blocking on Chris' long run.

Re: Brian F-ing Orakpo

You know, I hated all the posts this week about OU's "systemic holding."

That said, there were at least 3 FLAGRANT uncalled take-downs, including one on OU's first series of the game.

Re: Brian F-ing Orakpo

On the play Melton got called for the late hit that looked like intentional grounding, the tackle had a handful of jersey first. They only called one holding on OU that I can remember.

Re: Brian F-ing Orakpo

Maybe I'll have my wife read these posts. She thinks I am making it up about the dirt burglar's incessant holding and wonders why I scream at the TV and officiating. I believe it was his first sack where he was being taken down as he got Bradford and there was no call. What part of the game was the official watching?

Henry didn't have a good game but I agree with this. I felt like he was held on the play.

Re: Brian F-ing Orakpo

One of the finest was Robinson on Gideon on the slip screen TD.

If you have the replay, watch it in slow mo. He knows he is going to hold before he gets, wraps him up, and throws Gideon down.

They don't just hold against us. I have very vivid memories against us, Tech, KState, WVU, it goes on and on.

Re: Brian F-ing Orakpo

I actually thought Loadholt got the best of Rak for most of the first half. I didn't see hardly any holding from my seats at the bottom of the upper deck on the 50--I saw a 380 pound dude sticking his arm out and stopping a guy who weighs 100 pounds less.

In the second half, though, Rak dominated him.

Prodigy, on TV I could not only see Rak getting held in the 1st half, on at least 2 plays he was held by his facemask. I was beside myself.

Well, I didn't see it, and I think generally fans from a school tend to see holding that's not there.

Fans on soonerfans.com think we were holding every play, for example.

this D line is AWESOME and Orakpo is really really special.

He as a no brainer #1 pick by some lucky pro team next spring.

Also, roy miller will go in the 1st round, I predict.
