@PGAllAmerican SS C.J. Hinojosa, who has been committed to #Texas, expected to sign with #Horns today, per sources. No huge surprise. #UT
According to KendallRogersPG on twitter.
Anybody heard anything about this?
Of course we still could easily lose him to the draft.
We could really use a good shortstop.
If you invite trouble, he usually shows up.

It's hard to get excited about college baseball recruiting when our top 2-3 recruits get plucked by MLB every year.

First day of class is in August.
I get why, and am 99% fine with kids signing with a school to hold MLB to the fire...
I cheer, root, and support for kids that *PLAY* for Texas.

He did sign with Texas by the way. At least that is better
than him signing with Aggy which he did take a visit to
last week.
So either we get him or ge goes pro.
If you invite trouble, he usually shows up.

Hinojosa had successful surgery yesterday on his nonthrowing shoulder.
The injury he said happened last summer and was diagnosed as a dislocated shoulder. It has popped out twice since then
and he had the surgery to finally repair it after meeting with
the Astros medical director.
Kendal Rogers says that the injury is not serious, but that his stock in the draft has dropped from this injury and the
subsequent surgery and that he will probably go to college
and play for Texas.

Another site confirms this too.
