I like Red Bull sugarfree, but 3 bucks for a 12oz can is crazy. What are some other good tasting alternatives? I bought a Sobe drink the other day and it tasted like ass. Any suggestions?

rockstar juiced is delicious

Red Bull Sugarfree only for me. Its the tits...and at just under $3 a bottle, I consider it a treat/special even to drink one.

Try 5 Hour Energy. Better for you in the long run than the soda type drinks and actually works much better.
Here are two humorous reviews of the product. The girl found the taste horrible, the guy not so much. Go figure.

The 3 buck price is a bit much if you think of it as just 2 oz's. But when you consider it is considerably a more healthy (I guess) and effective pick-me-up than the soda types, it is a bargain. I love that it has no come down effect. But chase it with something if you don't like the taste. I just swish some water. That is how I roll when compartmentalizing my energies.

Go to Costco and buy your red bull. Sooooooooo much cheaper.
I like Rockstar sugar/carb free. It is in a blue bottle

I like the Monster lo-carb. It's the black can with blue colored writing. Great stuff and hardly any calories to add to the gut. Although I've heard the Rockstar lo-carb equivalent tastes like fruit punch, I need to try that one out.

I used it over the weekend on Saturday before starting my tailgate to make sure i had energy for the game and then throughout the night and it worked like a charm.
I also use it when i wake up the morning of my triathlons. There is no crash and it is like a timed release so there is no spike and crash. Plus it's all natural and has no caffeine (developed by physicians).! The taste is a bit bitter- not bad- but I've read that it is being re-formulated. All natural, though.
I swear by this stuff! 4 for 5 bucks at Whole Foods. It also tastes pretty good with vodka!

I second the Monster lo-carb. That stuff is addictive and actually tastes much better than the regular version. It's the only reason I got through my last year of grad school...

Sugar free Full Throtle is pretty good. And that Xyience (the UFC drink) from HEB is good, but doesn't seem as strong --but better flavors (cranberry and an apple one. the clear one sucks.)

5 hour energy for the win. That stuff keeps me focused like a laser beam. It lasts much longer than coffee or Monster.

I think I'm addicted to the Rockstar Zero Carb in the blue can. That stuff is delicious. I'm not sure if it gives me a boost, but I like the taste.

I was addicted to Monster and then the LoCarb which is yummy. I prefer 5 Hour if I need the energy. If I don't need as much of it and want the carbonation I get a Monster but I have one maybe once a month. I am in recovery.
