Thanks for your contrbutions to the Longhorns. The thing I remember about you is that when the UT interviewers ask various players which threee teammates they would want in an alley fight, the name Brock Edwards is almost always one of the names mentioned. Good luck in the future.

Thank you for coming to Texas and not Miami. You have been under-utilized this year and you have handled it with dignity. I appreciate your smash-mouth football style. Best of luck.

Brock, you are a badass. Good luck with your post-UT career, and thanks for all your hard work, blocks, clutch catches, and for being a Horn! Hook 'em!

From a fellow Fort Worth (well at least west side of the metroplex) resident, thanks for all the great memories and for being such a class act.
Someone once wrote on this message board "Brock Edwards, all he does is catch TD passes", it was meant as a complement, but if left out too much of your other contributions to the team. From playing FB, to blocking, to team leadership you have been a real contributor to one of the best runs in Texas football history. Best of luck on whatever road life takes you down.

Your intensity and determination will be missed. You have been one of my favorite players for a long tme. I absolutely love the way you play the game. Leave it all on the field. I hope to gawd you make it in the pros so that I have a reason to watch on Sundays. Good luck to you and thanks for all the memories. It still cracks me up when I think of that scenes of toughness and grit you have displayed during your time here on the 40 acres. Most recently, in the NU game of you emerging from the pile w/o your helmet and other Horns holding you back. You play with dedication and valor and I wish you the best. And nice tats!

I know you have the reputation of being a tough guy, and by the way that you play that's evident, but seeing you overcome with emotion at the end of your last game on our home field, let me see a side of you that you rarely show. I admire you very much and wish you a great life. Thanks for the 4 years.
