We'll never forget your monster game vs Nebraska last year that busted up their home winning streak. You are a fighter, and your style of play was a joy to watch. Good luck, Ivan and Hook 'em!

Ivan: I don't know if you're aware of the nickname you've earned around here, but around these parts you will forever be known as "Ivan F'n Williams".

Thanks for all your contributions to this team and all the incredible plays. I've always enjoyed watching every time you carried the ball. It's always entertaining to see such a big guy gliding effortlessly around the field. You don't exactly see big fullbacks with your running style every day.

Good luck getting fully recovered from your injury, and hopefully we'll see you playing on Sundays soon!

Re: IVAN WILLIAMS [re: LonghornGirlie]

dude.. you're a bad ass.. end of story. That game against Nebraska was huge.. and one can only wonder what could have been if you were here this year. You were sorely missed on the field this year, and will be missed in the future. Funny story though... I dunno if you know a guy named James Brownfield.. well we were playin' ball up at the college park outdoor court and we ran into him and he was like ya dude you should come to Ivan's apartment (i wont mention the #) and party with us....needless to say we didn't take him seriously and never made it over there. so if you ever get bored man come over and chill at 813 at college park.. there will always be a beer in the fridge with your name on it.

Hey soft hands. You were a horse. My family really enjoyed your play on the team.

I got a feeling that even greater success lies ahead.

Go get it.

Thank you for coming to THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS. You have been so much fun to watch. Also thanks for showing Greg Davis that the FULLBACK can do more than block. I know a injury is hard to over come sorry it had to happen your last year but if you are able to come back for one more year we would love to have you. Good luck to you. You are a HORN for LIFE. You will forever be known to me as "Ivan the Terrible" after the Tsar of Russia of the mid 1500's because of your great leadership and "cruelty" to opponents! You will be missed terribly! And always!

Ivan, from the monster game against Tech in 2001 to the big td catch in Chapel Hill last year to the incredible game in Lincoln what a pleasure it has been to watch you play. Through the good times and the bad I have seen you firing up players on the sideline and being a true team leader. That is real class and you are a real credit to the university, best of luck for the future.

So many times, while watching Longhorn games, I have said, "Damn, I wish Ivan was in the game! He'd have run that SOB over!" You have been so much fun to watch, and you have inspired everyone with your hard work in coming back from some tough injuries. Nice job. Best of luck to you. Hook'em.

Re: IVAN WILLIAMS [re: LonghornGirlie]

Ivan F'N Williams...what can I say. You are the F'N man! I have followed your career since HS. I went to Stafford High, graduated in '98, however my brother played against you when you ran 277 yds on them when you were a senior on our homecoming. My brother was that all-state middle linebacker you flattened and stepped on, on the way to one of your TWO 70+ yard runs. When I heard you were gonna be a Horn, I was stoked that I would get to see you wreck shop on the 40 acres.

Believe me, your best years are definetly in front of you, and you will be the man in the NFL.

I know your senior season was one of pain and disappointment. But keep your head up and keep fighting. We've enjoyed watching you play and are so proud of the contributions you've made. Your hard work and dedication are an inspiration to your teammates and many fans. Best wishes always both on the field and in life. Hook 'em Horns!
