thank you will all my heart Roy! you are the Legend, youre da man, and youre the ULTIMATE warrior!!
I love your TD celebrations too!!
Dragging those OSU defenders, highlight reel after highlight reel catches like the 1 behind your head and lets not forget that tipped pass to yourself your freshman year - was that against LaLa? That was awesome!
You had one at KState you tipped to yourself too did you?
thank you for keeping your commitment to Texas for your 4th year! The world knows Roy Williams #4 word means something!

Thanks Roy. I think many people have said it already, but you are one of the all-time grea Longhorns -- and that is saying a hell of a lot. Your coming back told the whole nation what kind of school Texas is, and we alumni appreciate it. I will never forget the Cotton Bowl where you just went off on LSU. If I wasn't there in person, I never would have believed a guy could be that good. Best of luck in the pros and thanks again.

I still remember your catch in the La Tech game 4 years ago and saying at the time this is the best wide receiver I've ever seen at the college level. You did nothing in 4 years to disprove that. Your senior leadership this year just proves what an outstanding teamplayer you are to complement your incredible individual gifts. Thanks for all the great memories and best of luck with what will undoubtedly be a very succesfull pro career.

Thank you, Roy, for representing the pride and greatness of the University of Texas. You are truly a class act, not to mention a badass!
We will never forget you're staying for your senior year. I hope you blow them away in the NFL.
You will be deeply missed.

Roy,
Thanks for the memories. You will go down in history as not only one of the most talented football players in UT history, but as one of its greatest competitors. That is a rare combination and will serve you well both in "the league," and in life.

Thanks for the memories Legend, and thanks for coming back and giving us another full season to watch you play. You are an amazing athlete and seem to be a great person as well. Have fun in the pro's.
P.S.
The picture of you running on the field holding the flag will remain my desktop background forever.

Truly a University Of Texas Legend for all time. Players like Roy, while being what make college football great, also bring horrible despondency when they have to leave. Thanks for delaying the inevitable one more year, Roy.

Hey Roy, could you do me a favor?
Next year, as you go into the end zone to break the rookie TD record, could you flash a "Hook 'EM"?
That would be just about the greatest thing ever.
And thanks for all the great years. You were, by far, the best receiver I have ever seen wear the Burnt Orange. Possibly the best college receiver, period.

Damn I have dreaded this moment for FOUR years. In my own selffish mind, I wish you could stay on the 40 acres forever. You have brought a new level of class to our program, anything you possibly dream about achieving in your career will come true. You have been my favorite Longhorn of all-time from the time of your very first game. I couldnt imagine how many times I have lost my voice during games from yelling, "Throw it to Roy!"
Thank you for four years of memories, and remember when you are in the NFL that the best TD celebration is just simply raising your hand and representing the place where you will always be referred to as, "The Legend"

Roy,
I have enjoyed watching you play these past 4 years. I want to wish you the best in the pros.
I was talking to someone today and he mentioned he was from Odessa. I smiled and said, "That is where Roy Williams is from, the BEST wide receiver ever to play for UT!"
I will always remember the thrilling plays you have made. RIght now my desk top background is you and Vince running down the field with you blocking for him as he went for endzone at the Tulane game. You are a TEAM PLAYER and we will never forget it!!!
Happiness IS being a Longhorn!

I am old enough to realize that once a generation a great player at a position is lucky to grace the campus of any school. Tommy Nobis, Steve Wooster, Earl Campbell, Ricky Williams are some people who come to my mind. I wonder if others on this board realize that we have been priviledged to see another legend pass through the 40 acres, Roy Williams.
Thanks for the many highlights during your career. I want to also complement you on how you conducted yourself. A class act all the way. Best wishes for a long and successful pro career. I will be rooting for you, whatever team you play for.

Congratulations, Roy, on a great career at the University of Texas. Thanks for coming back for your senior season. It's still early in November, so I know you have many more outstanding plays to go.
Hope to see you on the field in January, and on Sundays starting next year!!

You are the man. At the games after one of your catches or Runs that only you could have made, My brother would start yelling He's a FREAK a F'ing FREAK. Roy thank you for coming to THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS. Afew years from now, I would love to hear your thoughts on Greg Davis the only man that could stop you in a game. Have a Great time in the NFL.( Get all the $ that you can). One last thing go get over 100 yard against Tech and the aggies. Put a foot in the aggies ass.
