Big James, wow, what a career you have had here at Texas. To whup up on a record that stood for 22 years really says something about the contributions you made to this team during you four years.
More importantly, you and your teammates have had four great years with great results, all 20-plus winning season and a final four appearance and who knows how for you guys go this year! And you have set something in motion here that will continue for many years to come--a b-ball program to be feared.
I hope you have had a great four years in Austin and will be able to capitalize on your experiences here so that you will always be happy and successful in life.
As a fan in the seats, let me say thatnks for the thrills and we will all miss you.

JT is the reason (along with Boddicker at times) that the T in Texas stands for toughness. He's a Bo Outlaw reincarnation who can score, too. Congratulations on a great career, JT!

James, you give new meaning to the term toughness! And I guess you and Boddicker make the T in Texas stand for tough. Congrats on a great career for a Bo Outlaw clone who can score!

It has meant so much to all UT fans to watch you play basketball for the past 4 years. You brought a passion to the game and a love for your teammates that was greater than any I have ever seen. I remember when TJ was a freshman and you guys were playing in Stillwater, and you came off the bench to protect him from the rabid OSU fan; I still get chills when I think about it. The story about you staying in Austin two summers ago to help mentor Brad also comes to mind. Not to mention that you are the leading rebounder in Texas Basketball history; that is quite an accomplishment.
I know your senior season didn't turn out the way you had hoped, and from the quotes in the paper it sounded like you were pretty upset about what happened. Just know that it didn't matter to the fans whether you scored 20 points or 2; the energy you brought to the court was in itself worthy of much praise. And we will never forget that. Congratulations on an amazing career, and good luck to you whever your life takes you. No matter what happens, you will always be a Longhorn. Thank you for the past four years. Hook'em.

JT,
Out of the whole group of Seniors I think your passion for the game was most evident. It was infectious - and even this year when you may not have been at your best physically you still came off the bench and sparked the team. All the hard work you put in paid off (we could tell by the way you gradually filled out those lumberjack shoulders) and will continue to do so in the future. Thanks for the memories!
