Rod -- you have improved every year as a Longhorn. What more can a fan ask for?
I also love your motto that no one on your side of the field catches the ball -- not even you. Of course with the INTs this year your not exactly living up to that.
A stellar NFL career awaits you. Best wishes!

Another player all Horn Fans hate to see go, but of course we know there are Sunday games ahead.
I loved the great things you said on the Mack Brown senior salute radio show-sounds like you really loved the experience at UT.
It was fun this year, sitting in the stands, shouting "Hey that was intercepted by hands of stone!"

Dang it, Stone Hands, I was hoping that you would continue dropping interceptions enough to drop to the Steeler's pick in the Draft. Now that you can catch too you'll probably end up with the Texans or Cowboys. Or the Bungles for crying out loud.
Look forward to seeing that smart aleck smile on some Rookie football cards next season.

I never bought into the stone-hands moniker...and this year proved that. You are a lock-down corner in every sense of the word. You might need to change your motto though. "No one catches the ball on your side of the field, unless its you." Your abilities will never be forgotten at this university.

If everyone that ever wore a burnt orange jersey had your attitude we would have a lot more championships to speak of. Your confidence is obvious and you are one of those players that I never worry about when you have made a mistake because I know you will come back the next time and shut it down on your island out there. You are, in my opinion, underrated still. I know you have started to recieve a little credit recently but it is not enough. You are just nails and that should have been realized a long time ago.

Congrats Rod on a tremendous career at UT. You are next in line to go into the NFL as a great cornerback from UT. I wish you the best of luck, and I know you will do great. You left lots of memories, but the best was at the Tulane game when you had those pass breakups and when you got really pumped up as well did the fans, (that was a b.s. penalty by the way). I would come to the games early just to watch you warm up and dance to the music. I'm going to miss that.
