Big heart, my man. Biog heart. I loved watching you in practice this summer. You go hard every play.

You are an inspiration to us all. Congratulations on all your success on getting a scholarship to one of the best teams in America, after being a walk-on. That is something to be very proud of. We will miss you.

Richard you are one of my sisters favorite players. She will always yell when she sees you come out on the field. I appreciate seeing you lay the wood on special teams. Thanks for being a Longhorn.

When I think of Richard Hightower, I think of #27 laying out some poor dude on UNC to spring Vasher's punt return TD in 2001, among other plays. Thanks for your hard work and representing The University well.

Richard,
The past few seasons have been VERY exciting for Texas Longhorn football. We have a common interest, Remember the Titans ! and Sanford and Son. I am glad you were a part of the great progame at UT. God Bless and Best
of Luck to you in the future.

Awesome hit on the A&M kick return. May you be immortalized on blacklab's site. Thanks for putting us at ease during kick offs and punts, knowing that you, Beau and Michael are out to giving your best effort every single time. Hook'em.

Nice block on Vasher's punt return! You have always done the things for Texas that may be overlooked but you have been as important on special teams as any of the other guys. Thanks for being a Horn.

I loved watching you tear down the field on special teams. Seeing someone like yourself is a true inspiration to everyone, and even more to young athletes. Congrats on your career as a Horn. Hook'em Horns!

Re: Richard Hightower [re: LonghornGirlie]

The other day I was watching the tape of the 2001 NC game again, and I noticed it was you who made the initial key block that sprung Nathan for the TD. To think that over the past 10-years Texas has had three punt returns for TD, and you made they key block on two of them! Amazing.
