All those catches out of the backfield and blocks to break open a hole for the TB will be remembered and are really appreciated. Thanks for being such a fine player and such a fine representaive of our University. Good Luck and best wishes for the future.

The past few seasons have been VERY exciting for Texas Longhorn football. You were vital in the Holiday Bowl.. truely a teamplayer.

Thank you for being a Longhorn. You were always bustin heads for the TB on ISO's and catching those critical passes. Hope your HB was as great for you as it was for us hollering at the TV! You'll be missed! All our best for where ever your future takes you, now beat the ever lovin HELL outta AnM!

Team leaders come in all shapes sizes and forms. From what I have seen of you, it never mattered if you were the #1 guy, if you were healthy or hurt, or if the guys next to you may have had more size, talent, or potential. You were always there to lead them. There is so much to be said for your on the field productivity. I believe that productivity showed on the field for others more so than you a lot of times and that is what makes a great team player and leader. Good luck... your future is bright!

Matt, you've truly been a class act from day one at Texas. On the field, you played your heart out for the team and all of us, banging heads and busting guts to help pave the way for victory. Off the field, you were a gentleman and a scholar.
I was so glad to see you get your carry today - but you'll be remembered for a heck of a lot more than that. You blocked like nobody's business, and we were lucky to have you!

Matt,
The devastating block you dished out on Selvin's kickoff return against Houston was a thing of beauty. Quite possibly the most devastating block I saw all year (too bad the refs screwed us with the "holding call"!).
I also really liked the clutch catches in the Holiday Bowl. Way to come up big when we needed it.
