Cole Pittman

While Cole is not here with us in body, his spirit has certainly been an important part of this team and he is very much a part of this class. Please post your memories, thoughts and appreciation for Cole here.

Cole, we took a knee on the PAT to honor your 44. Your team did you proud. RIP.

Re: Cole Pittman [re: LonghornGirlie]

Cole's untimely passing leaves a sadness we will never forget, but the inspirational appearances by his family members, especially his father, have filled many of us with awe. The power of their faith and the strength they exhibit inspires us to live life to the fullest, and hopefully, to never take our own loved ones for granted.

Rest in Peace Big Guy. Still pick you out in past videos of games, always making plays. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I was clueless when they took the knee until we discussed it in our section and someone said "Look at the score -- 44".

Your class did well, Cole.

The North Carolina game last year was one of the most emotional and amazing finishes I have ever witnessed. It brought tears to this old mans eyes. I have seen a lot of emotional events but this ranks as one of the tops. Rest in Peace, Cole.

May God bless you Cole. You were taken from all of us too soon. The Longhorn community will never forget you. Your number 44 will hang very high with us and in our hearts. I am confident that memories of you are in the hearts of your fellow Texas senior teammates' this season while your eyes are upon them.

Cole, we miss you. Your play on the field was inspiring, but not nearly as inspiring as what you did outside of football. You are always in our thoughts and in our hearts. Hook 'Em! ~ Robert
