I have a small ML bet on Texas tonight. Its a 50/50 game in my mind so Ill take Texas at +140. It had been at +125 all day then jumped up so I took it.

Yeah, Munich made it closer then it should have been. They just could not afford a draw at home as that would have been crushing with the second leg going to Fiorentina. The goal was controversial, but I will take it. Porto was even more controversial as the Arsenal goalie gave Porto two gifts.
Europa league today. Some call it the Mickey Mouse league. I am on Villareal and Atletico Madrid MLs. That is probably it for today as it is difficult to figure these games out (and figure out the psyche of the teams and their desire to win this second tier tournament).
General - I post on the soccer board on covers.com. Username is whiskeyhangover. There are good previews for soccer on goal.com and windrawwin.com.
I went 0-2 in CBB last night. May give up on CBB altogether.

college hoops has been brutal the last two weeks. i have no idea what anybody is going to do. went 1-2 last night. i wanted to bet missouri last night but couldnt bring myself to bet against tx.

If I cant go .500 in the next 7 days, Im going to give it up for the year. Ill still play some entertainment games for march madness but that will be it.
I have a system that works pretty much every year in baseball, so I will still have that and soccer until football starts up again - jesus thats a long time.

i went 1-2 again last night. this is getting tiresome. although one trned ive noticed the last week is that the better teams are now winning on the road. im a home team/home dog better so ive been getting killed the last 2 weeks. i had ole miss last night, syracuse and marquette. only cuse won. what does the soccer field look like?

I went with the Hoff in Germany and Hercles in Dutch league. Just small plays on both.
I have lots of plays over the weekend, but mostly on Sunday. I am waiting for some goal lines on some of the heavy money favorites.

well, 2-1 in soccer and won the bog o/u in the german league game. looking forward to some good matches this weekend. im going to try hoops again. you would think statistically i could win these. im going with cornell again tonight -3. im just not betting it heavy. harvard has some people out sick tonight. im also taking the spurs -3. 76'ers have a few people out with injuries as well. we will see.

well, although i split last night i technically went 2-1 since i had two units on cornell. as everyone knows, been deperate for hoops wins. i did something i didnt think i would ever do. i loved tech today and bet against texas. well, i won. also had baylor/ok st over. a 2-0 win is rare. i may stop today. 4-2 in soccer today. yall have me hooked on this now.

Well, I am at work tonight (I had to come in to send something out for a client), so I am able to post over the weekend (for a change). Went 1-1 on Friday (actually took the Heracles over and accidentally posted the side). I went 4-0 in soccer today. Hit Borussia hard (both ML and -1) and that was nice. Also hit Barcelona over 3 and took the Spanish team playing Xerez (Zerez is horrible). Tomorrow, lots of plays.
I really like the following:
Roma ML and -1
Livorno/Fior u2.5
PSV -2
Ath Bilbao ML
Osasuna ML
Real Madrid ML
I laid off the other big money favorites in the Dutch league. Also, have been horrible in EPL, but like Aston Villa a lot and may add them.

Yeah, after down 1-0, Aston reels off 5 straight. My favorite plays of the day were Roma, Ath Bilbao and Aston Villa. If I just went with those, then I would have had a nice day. But I got greedy and added a bunch of other picks and wound up pretty much breaking even.
Need to make a run this week. Got Champions League the next couple days after a Spain matchup today.

yeah, i made a big play on madrid to make it a profitable day. i had a nice sized play on wigan/tott under and tott scored scored 2 goals in the last 15 minutes including the last with about 20 seconds of extra time left to win 3-0. brutal.
