ChazUTX 2500+ posts 11/15/10 09:16 PM College Football Week 12 Early Leans with discussion: Fresno State +31 (Boise barely covered against a bad Idaho team....and I think Fresno is a much much better team than Idaho. I see Fresno keeping it fairly close most of the game...2-3 TD's.) Wisconsin -4.5 (Not sure I understand this line. I see Mich is at home...but still. The #5 team in the country to an unranked Michigan squad are you kidding me? Wisconsin is playing lights out....wins over OSU and Iowa. Some interesting trends for this game: Michigan is 5-21 ATS in their last 26 conference games. Wisc is 6-1-1 ATS in the last 8 meetings with Michigan. I lean HEAVY Wisc here) Arky -3 (Bama seemed to have zero trouble in handling Miss. St defense and Arky seems to be playing well and handling their business. However their is one trend that is bugging me about this game and why i won't take it large....Home team is 8-0 ATS in their last 8 meetings. That would favor Miss. St. at home) Dare I take Texas YET again for the 4th straight week ATS? Cashed all previous 3 games ATS. 21 seems like an awful lot to win by....and I don't think we're playing as well as we were when we played Rice and Wyoming. It has been bet down from 10 and I hope it goes lower. I know it's a rivalry game but Vandy is dreadful and has lost and not covered 5 straight. Tennessee is getting their groove after going through a murderous stretch of games. They also need to win both of their games to get to 6-6. Vandy's QB has been BAD lately and is banged up to boot. You'll turn it around man. I am 2-0 so far in CBB but those were small plays. These are my first two big plays of the year. I like what Texas is doing, but they are going to face a well-coached BIG team with a good PG. I can see Texas losing by 10-12. Maryland has to be 6 point dogs based on name recognition only. Pitt is light years ahead of them. I can see this one getting ugly. I think Pitt beats Illinois too, in what will likely be a 2 or 3 point spread. Could come down to making FTs, which is always a crap shoot. NBA though...I follow a buddy on another forum who is money with his NBA system. He is 9-2 on his hammer play's for the season...including two hammer plays last night with Dallas +4.5 and Heat -8. I can start posting his hammer plays for you guys if you want to start following. His hammer play for tonight is Denver +2. I CAN vouch for his record this year which is 60-38-2 in the NBA(9-2 on HAMMER plays that he designates) He posts his picks if any fit his system daily. What I CAN'T vouch for is historical record in past years...no clue....but I have followed him since day 1 of 2010 NBA season and jumped on board with his picks after the first week...where he went like 9-2 or something crazy. He's done VERY well...and made me quite a bit of money. Only thing that worries me is him going on a losing streak to bring that 60-38 record back down to earth a bit more. Roughly 60% is solid....but I doubt he keeps it up all season. EDIT: Oh and again I can start posting his plays everyday on here if you guys want to start following his record from here on out. Carolina is going to start a guy who was a stay-at-home dad as recently as LAST WEEK! They will be without their best RBs as well (maybe all top 3).
