Typical homer coverage in today's Omaha Weird Herald. The Link Couldn't POSSIBLY say something nice like "Horns Win" or the like. Had to get cute like Steve Pivovar did when our boys won the CWS back in 2005 "Men of Steer".
Go Horns. Beat the HELL outta whoever's next!

Great job ladies.
And I know some people were bitching because Texas got shipped to Omaha to play Nebraska in what is essentially a home game for UNL.
Well, the #3 "national seed" Florida State lost to the #11 seed Minnesota 3-1. Guess where that Regional was held? Minneapolis.

Florida State was never ranked in the top 10 & was not deserving of that #3 seed overall.

I have no problem with the headline in the Weird Herold story, and I especially have no problem with the story itself. It was extremely complimentary about the Lady Horns and their phenomenal win.
Way to go, ladies, and keep it up!

I didn't think it was fair for us having to play Nebraska in that hostile environment but now that it is over and the ladies are advancing I think it is an advantage now. Way to go Ladies.
