Another 2014 prospect to fantasize about

I needed a FB fix and found this: Ronald Monroe, QB,6'4", 190 lbs from Bush, HS in Richmond TX. These are sophomore highlights and they are very impressive much like those of Hoza Scott. Excellent pocket passer who has nice touch on his passes and hits his deep receivers in stride. He scrambles well to avoid the rush and is very accurate when throwing on the run. He runs the ball very well and doesn't mind lowering his his pads to get the tough yardage! All in all, he is exceptionally polished for a soph. I can't wait to follow his progress as a Jr. this year!

I hope we can offer him. He is outstanding. He really knows how to use his blockers and stays cool under pressure.

Heard looks more impressive than Monroe IMO.

Moot point TNL, since they are both sophs and have two more years to develop! Since it is likely that other QBs will mature and develop later, it appears that the 2014 class will be loaded at the position. I hope Harsin/white is still around to evaluate them but whatever happens, I would like to see them stay in state or at least stay in conference. It would make for some very exciting, wide open and hopefully, high scoring football games!
The are both exceptionally talented players at this point! The fun part is going to come from watching them over the next two years to see if one can separate himself from the others. Hopefully, that's the one we end up with!
