Montrell ... I'm terribly sorry about your career ending injury. But if you handle your recovery from the injury as well as you developed from a freshman speedster into a well-rounded senior wide receiver, then I'd say you're set for life.

Best of luck in the future and thank you for being a Longhorn!

Thanks, Montrell!

Montrell,

I know things didnt work out for you the way you expected but no matter how great or small you are apart of something special. Something that will endure far beyond your playing days. College is the best time of your life, so treasure your experiences both good and bad because they will be the things that you will tell your grand children about.

Thank you for representing this institution with honor and dignity.

Sincerely, Austin_Bill

It was great watching him in the burnt orange. He improved so much during his time at Texas, and he will be missed. Good luck to you Montrell. Keep your head up.

If you apply yourself as a professional the way you did to be a football player, then you will be very successful! Good luck with your life, and take good care with your health. You will be missed and not forgotten.

Montrell, you sir, are a badass. Badasses kick ass and you will do plenty of that in life. You are tough and have proven it many times. I was so bummed to learn about your injury. You will overcome that and be even more of a success in life. Best of luck to you and thank you for helping my voice disappear all those times cheering for your speed and ability. Hook 'em.

Montrell, you have given us a lot of thrills here on the 40 Acres. It was with great sadness that your career ended the way it did. You were just coming into your own. Best of luck with what you decide to do with your future and may God bless you.

Montrell, Good Luck in your future. Thanks for staying on to help with the younger receivers this season. You really were our best receiver to start the year.

TO ONE OF THE FASTEST GUYS TO EVER ROCK THE BURNT ORANGE:
IT'S SEEMS UNFAIR THE WAY THINGS TURNED OUT. IT LOOKED AS IF YOU WOULD BLOW UP THIS YEAR. IT'S A DAMN SHAME WE DIDN'T GET TO SEE YOU TORCHING DEFENSES THIS YEAR. BEST OF LUCK TO YOU, NOT THAT YOU NEED IT- KARMA IS GOING TO HOOK YOU UP WITH THE 500 MILLION DOLLAR LOTTERY. IT SEEMS ONLY RIGHT AFTER HAVING YOUR SPLEEN LACERATED. HOOK 'EM 4 LIFE

We pray for God's best for you in your future endeavors!

Re: Montrell Flowers [re: LonghornGirlie]

Montrell,

Thanks for the memories and for your contributions to the program. In a relatively injury-free year for the Horns, yours was by far the biggest blow--and after things were starting out so well.

I don't feel sorry for you, however, man because you're a winner. Hook'em!

Thanks Montrell for the games you helped win for us with your clutch catches. IMO you were our most consistant WR when you were hurt. We all wish you the best in your future plans.
