And then we had to go to Misty's (steak place...good) and tell the young hostess we were "Muschamp...party of 4." It was classic when she announced it on the PA.

Classic.

Re: nebraska's temperament [re: pantherhorn]

there was a normal mix of fans. the alumni were painfully nice for the most part. their students were just as obnoxious as everyone else's students, though. i actually got punched by a female student as we were leaving the game....can't say that has ever happened. and we had more than a few students yelling "f*** texas" at us as we left, too. if it weren't for the booing our injured player, i might actually say they were good fans overall, but that was ridiculous.

Re: nebraska's temperament [re: pantherhorn]

Experience was great. Invited to share in their tailgate grub. Numerous congrats following the game. A few curse words here and there but nothing too bad. Our longhorn flag flying was turned upside down overnight but that's as bad as it got. Pretty tame. In regards to fans booing a player down, it was because they thought he was faking. If you remember, most of the injuries happened during nebraskas drives. Fans felt we were killing the momentum. Also on that last injury, our player got up and was walking off the field and then took a knee. I'm sure we would've interpreted the same way.

So then they were complaining that we were stopping the clock for them when they were down 2 scores in the 4th quarter?

I see no evidence for this.

Re: nebraska's temperament [re: pantherhorn]

It seems the Nebraska fans felt our "faked" injuries were hindering their offense (yes the one that gained a whopping 202 yards) in much the same way Sherman feels TV timeouts hinder his Aggies.

My 11 year old daughter caught this one on the screen.

(I had to watch a second time)

Of course, not representative of the whole.

This is kind of like the jerks that we have that wear shirts that say "you cant spell ****** without ou." These type people are an embarassmant. The funny thing is that they think it's funny or, somehow, cool. What a bunch of scum buckets.
